Can I bid on any type of property or are there restrictions on what I can buy?

You can choose a new build or existing property anywhere in Northern Ireland, within your approval limit. 

The maximum property value you're approved for will depend on what you can afford and is detailed in your Co-Ownership Approval. This is based on your individual circumstances. 

If your Approval supports:

• up to £215,000: you'll be offered this single maximum value which applies to both existing properties and new builds. 
• between £215,001 and £230,000 you can choose:
  • an existing property up to £215,000 or
  • a new build property up to the property value shown on your Approval
