Eligibility & application
Can EU, EEA, or Swiss citizens apply for Co-Ownership?
To apply for Co-Ownership you must be a resident of Northern Ireland and have settled or pre-settled status, or another suitable immigration status.
If you are an EU, EEA, or Swiss citizen, you and your family may still be able to apply through the EU Settlement Scheme in certain circumstances.
Before applying for Co-Own, be aware that lenders may have different rules depending on your visa. If you are eligible for a mortgage it is likely you will be eligible for Co-Ownership. Note that only certain lenders offer Co-Ownership mortgages. Not all lenders require a deposit.
