To add Co-Ownership as a joint owner on your home insurance, get your insurance in place first and then you can add Co-Own as an interested party after, by contacting the insurance provider directly. Sometimes doing this over the phone is easier as not all providers have this option on their website.

You do not need to add Co-Ownership as a 2nd party/person when you are applying for your insurance.
