 **Becoming a Co-Ownership customer follows a clear, step-by-step process that we've designed to be as straightforward as possible.**

You start by submitting an online application, we assess your eligibility and affordability, and once approved you can begin looking for a home. After you find the right property, you buy the share you can afford, and Co-Ownership buys the rest. Over time, you can increase your share until you own your home without Co-Ownership.

Below is an overview of the full journey, from applying through to becoming a homeowner and beyond.

 The process typically takes between three and six months from application to completion, though this can vary depending on how quickly you find a property and how long it takes your solicitor to complete the legal work involved.
