--- title: Rent to Own date: 2026-03-05T09:40:00+00:00 author: Clinton canonical_url: "https://co-ownership.org/rent-to-own" section: Landing pages --- # Rent to Own Existing customers can submit a buy out request using the form below. **Rent to Own is closed to new applications.** For our existing customers, you maintain all the benefits and rights of a traditional legal tenancy agreement. **As your landlord, we:** - ensure that your home is kept in good repair and proper working order - provide a copy of your home's Energy Performance Certificate - maintain gas appliances - repair or replace fixtures & fittings that we have supplied and which are no longer working - insure the building, fixtures and fittings **As our tenant, we expect you to:** - look after your home - inside and out - and keep it in a good state of repair and reasonably clean - let us know about any damage as soon as possible, including emergencies - look after the appliances we provide, and replace anything damaged or broken - ask us before making any alterations to the property - have adequate insurance for your personal possessions - not do anything that would invalidate our insurance Full details can be found in your Tenancy Agreement.
