**Our People**# Andrea McKellar

Andrea has a BA (Hons) in Accounting from UU, is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) with the Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors.

Andrea has over 25 years’ experience in global financial services and is currently Head of Audit for NatWest Retail Bank, part of NatWest Banking Group. Andrea’s career has included other senior audit roles for NatWest, Ulster Bank, Danske Bank and National Australia Bank, gaining extensive exposure to Board and Audit Committee governance requirements. Public sector roles in her career include audit for the NI Housing Executive (NIHE) and risk governance for the NI Local Government Officers Superannuation Committee (NILGOSC).

With this experience, she brings to Co-Ownership an in-depth knowledge of credit, market and operational risk management, both from a lender and auditor perspective. She also brings experience in other relevant areas such as strategic and change risk, customer conduct best practice, data privacy and pension risk.
